The Darker Side Of The Devil Tattoo
Devil tattoos are about as popular as angel tattoos. The devil tattoo offers a symbolism of fear and evil. If a person chooses to wear a devil tattoo they may want to show the world their dark side or they may just be wanting the devil tattoo to represent them in a way that is not so dark. The devil tattoo has been associated with the dark arts and it is often misunderstood as a work of evil and has been disclaimed as a work of idolatry and unsavory, unchristian motives. This is not true for most wearers of devil tattoos and if you look behind the scenes you will see that their reasons are less dark than you would think.
Devil tattoos can represent that bad little boy or girl in a comedic way to show that you have a little devil in you. This doesnt mean that you are evil or anti-religious. Everybody has a little devil in them and if you want to get a devil tattoo of Red Hot the cartoon character or Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes with little horns coming out of his head, what is wrong with that. The devil tattoo wearer is having a little fun and it should be taken as such. Even when a tattoo artist paints horns on an angel, it is just their expression of the duality of man. We are evil and good at the same time and what people see on the outside, usually doesnt actually represent them on the inside.
Devil tattoos in extreme cases may be a form of religious expression. Devil tattoos can accompany angel tattoos in a recreation of the eternal battle of good versus evil. The devil tattoos can represent the constant temptation that we have in life and how by the mere sight of them, they can instill the fear of eternal wraith and keep the person free of sin. Another reason a person might want to wear a devil tattoo is as a form of fear. The devil and Satan are seen as bad symbols and to have these tattoos on your body, especially in reference to gangs, can cause people to avoid conflict or confrontation with you. The wearer of devil tattoos for this reason usually considers themselves someone to be feared and avoided.
You can even have a blend of angel tattoos and devil tattoos. You can have a demon with angelic wings and a beautiful face and the body of the demon would look like the devil. You can go the opposite way and attach horns to your angels tattoos head and have a forked tail coming out beneath her gown. Whatever you choose for what ever reason you can express the philosophy of good and evil or just have fun with a devil tattoo. Get creative and have fun with it. Who cares what other people think? It is your body and you can do what you want with it. Express yourself. The devil tattoo is only bad through ignorance and poor judgment.

Well I thought I would go into a little more detail on how to take care of your tattoo right after you have gotten it. First things first your tattoo artist should have some sort of print out to give you describing in detail how you are suppose to take care of your new tattoo. In case they dont provide one Ill inform you on what to do.
First you need to leave the bandage on for at least a few hours and when those hours are up you need to gently wash off your tattoo with warm water using a gentle soup. Make sure you wash it with lukewarm water and be forewarned that your skin will be very sensitive and it may burn. After you have gently washed it and dried it, coat your tattoo with bacitracin. You will need to do this a few times a day for the first week or until the scab has completely fallen off your tattoo.
Secondly, you must stay out of the sun! Do not submerge it in water or soak it, keep harsh soaps and or chemicals off of it. Try your best to restrict the amount of rubbing or friction on it from clothes and lastly do not put your tattoo under running water. I know what you are thinking how can I shower? So You Want A Tattoo
So you have made the decision to get a tattoo, that is great, but there are a couple things you need to think about before you set off and get inked. The biggest decision you need to make is what kind of tattoo you are going to get. Did you know that nearly 35% of people regret their first tattoo? Well I hate to say that I fall into that category. I don't necessarily regret my first tattoo, but I don't exactly like it anymore. So you need to be 110% sure you will be okay having this tattoo on your body for the rest of your life. Secondly, if this will be your first tattoo try not to go over board with it, ie don't get something extremely huge that covers a large area of your body.
The second decision you need to make is where to get the tattoo on your body. Of course the places are literally endless. If you don't handle pain very well be for warned that it does hurt, it's no completely painless. If you are concerned about the pain, then consider getting a tattoo on your shoulder blade, the one I go there hardly hurt at all. Also for you guys out there, I hear that the top of your arm doesn't hurt either, I personally can't vouch for that because I don't have on there. But women please listen up to this, especially you teenage girls out there. You may want to triple think getting a tattoo on your stomach or pelvic area because if you decided to have children one day that little butterfly you have down there may turn into some hideous stretched out ugly mess.
If you are having trouble finding the perfect something to have inked on your body. You can always sit down with a tattoo artist and have them draw you up one or you can check out Infinte Tattoos and look through the hundreds of tattoo designs that are featured on the site.

Rose Tattoos
When you think about anything related to love, you tend to think about flowers. In particular, roses are thought of more than any other type of flower. In the American culture, it is common to deliver roses to a loved one during special occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays or Valentine's Day. Therefore, it has become a universal symbol for love and this meaning holds true in the tattoo form as well. However, there are several alternate meanings of a rose tattoo depending on the design of the flower itself.
As mentioned already, the main interpretation of a rose tattoo is to symbolize love. To display this meaning through ink, the flower is drawn on a stem without thorns. Thorns on a rose change the meaning while serving as a warning to people that they should proceed with caution because love hurts. People who choose a rose tattoo with thorns typically want to present the meaning of exhilarating love that can be both risky and agonizing at the same time.
Besides love, a tattoo of a rose can also symbolize beauty. Many people believe that a rose is a representation of a persons' inner and outer beauty. In this case, a rose tattoo with thorns symbolizes two things; that the person does not care much about their physical beauty or that others can only look but not touch.
Did you know roses are not strictly red and have many shades of colors? As a matter of fact, the color of the rose can symbolize different meaning as well. To start off, a red rose signifies true love, passion, romantic love and respect. Pink roses signify grace and gentleness. Coral roses show desire, while orange roses represent excitement. Light peach and yellow roses symbolize friendship. White roses are commonly known to show purity, innocence, youth and secrecy, whereas black roses represent death and darkness. Purple roses represent love at first sight, while blue roses signify impossibility or fantasy.
Not only that, rose tattoos can be combined with different shades to alter the meaning slightly. The colors red and white combined represent mercy, unity and justice. Red and yellow colors are a symbol of congratulations, and yellow and orange colors combined are equivalent to passionate thoughts. Although there are multiple symbolism behind a rose tattoo, you do not need to relate to any of the following to get one. Rose tattoos will always look amazing and never fails to impress.
